Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-20

This Privacy Policy explains how Pragma Plus LLC ("we", "us"), the operator of JbPuzzle at jbpuzzle.com (the "Service"), handles personal data when you use the Service. We collect as little as we can: you can create and preview puzzles without an account and without giving us any personal data.

Who we are

The Service is operated by Pragma Plus LLC, a company registered in the United States of America. For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect and why

  • Email address — when you buy print files or a ready-made puzzle, request a "My purchases" link or write to us. We use it to deliver your order, send download links and order status updates, and to answer you.
  • Order data — the puzzle you bought (model, cuts, size, number of pieces, a small preview image), price, currency, order and payment status, technology and clearance chosen for printing.
  • Uploaded models — if you upload your own 3D model, we store the file and its checksum to cut your puzzle and to rebuild the archive if you need it again.
  • Consent records — if you upload your own model, we store your acceptance of the terms for uploaded models together with the date, the terms version and your IP address, as proof of consent.
  • Delivery data (ready-made puzzles only) — recipient name, shipping address and phone number, needed to make and ship your puzzle.
  • Country — determined from your connection by our hosting provider (Cloudflare); used for prices and delivery options and in aggregated sales statistics.
  • Messages — what you send through the "Write to us" form, including attachments.
  • Usage statistics — anonymous events such as "site opened", "puzzle created" or "checkout opened", linked to a random identifier stored in your browser. They contain no name, email, IP address or cookies and are used only to improve the Service. Stored for up to 400 days.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure form and never reach our servers. Stripe receives your email and the payment amount and processes payment data under its own privacy policy. We receive from Stripe only the payment status, amount and the payment fee.

Cookies and browser storage

  • We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • We use your browser's local storage for: the interface language, the random analytics identifier, your email and name if you tick "Remember" at checkout, and the state of the screens you worked with.
  • The payment form provided by Stripe may set its own cookies needed for fraud prevention and secure payment.

Who processes data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of the website, content delivery and protection against attacks.
  • Stripe, Inc. — payment processing.
  • Hosting providers of our application server, database and email service — storage of order data and sending of emails.
  • Manufacturers of ready-made puzzles (for example, Slant 3D in the USA) — only if you order a ready-made puzzle; they receive the files, recipient name, address and phone number needed to make and ship it.
  • Google LLC — web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

We are located in the United States, and our providers may process data in the United States, the European Union and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses used by our providers.

How long we keep data

  • Download archives — 90 days after they are built (they can be rebuilt from "My purchases" while the order data exists).
  • Orders, payments and related emails — as long as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes (generally up to 7 years).
  • Uploaded models and consent records — as long as the related order data is kept, or until you ask us to delete them where we are not required to keep them.
  • Anonymous usage statistics — up to 400 days.
  • Messages to support — as long as needed to answer and resolve your request.

Legal bases (EEA, UK)

  • Performance of a contract — processing orders, payments, delivery and download links.
  • Legal obligation — keeping accounting and tax records.
  • Legitimate interests — anonymous usage statistics, security and fraud prevention, answering your messages.
  • Consent — where we ask for it (for example, "Remember" at checkout); you can withdraw it at any time.

Your rights

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy.
  • Correct inaccurate data and ask us to delete data we no longer need.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing and request data portability.
  • California residents: know what personal information we collect, request deletion and correction, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell or share personal information.
  • EEA and UK residents may also complain to their local data protection authority.

To exercise your rights, email [email protected] from the address used for your orders. We will reply within 30 days.

Children

The Service is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old if you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, and at least 13 years old elsewhere. Purchases must be made by an adult or with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to order data is limited to the people who need it to run the Service. Download links are signed and expire.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If changes are significant, we will highlight them on the Service.
